SATURN AND MARS by June S. and Nerea

                                              Saturn

Saturn, is the second planet in our solar system  and the sixth planet from the sun.

It´s made of hydrogen, helium and methane.
It takes 11 hours to rotate one time. It takes 29.5 years to orbit the sun.

Saturn, has thousands of shiny rings made of ice and rock

Its surface is yellowish. 

The wind is so strong that it can float on water.


               MARS
Mars is named after the Roman god of war. 



Mars is the fourth planet from the solar system. It´s 227,900,000 km from the sun. It takes 687 days to orbit the sun. 
Mars is the third smallest planet in the solar system. It takes 24´6 hours to rotate one time.


It´s called the red planet. It has got two moons.


It´s got volcanoes, mountains and valleys.
It has the highest volcano in the solar system, Olympus Mons. It´s three times taller than Everest.
It has got the largest know canyon, Valles Marineris, much bigger than the Grand Canyon in USA.
