LEBKUCHEN by Nerea



 This is a recipe from Germany. Germany´s landscape ranges from the flat north sea coast to spectacular river valleys, forests, hills and mountains in the south.

Ingredients:
-1 egg.
-4 tablespoons dear honey.
-55g butter or margarine.
-55g soft brown sugar.
-225g plain flour 1 teaspoon baking powder.
-2 teaspoons ground ginger.
-30g cocoa powder.
-1 teaspoon lemon juice.
-85g icing sugar.
-1 tablespoon lemon juice.
-Food coloring (optional)
- Icing bag or a cone of grease proof paper.  

Method:
First, grease a baking sheet with butter. Separate the egg. You have to put in a bowl the yolk. Do not have to put the egg white.
Second, turn on the oven, put honey, butter,, and sugar in a pan oven a low heat. Stir the unit the butter has melted.
Next, sift the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, ginger and mixed spice into a mixing bowl and put the egg yolk in.
Then, mix the melted butter, honey and sugar into the flowr.
After, sprinkle some flour onto a clean worktop and onto a rolling pin.
Later, you have to use different molds with shapes.
After that, use a spatula to lift the biscuits onto the baking sheet.
Next, bake the biscuits 7 to 8 minutes.
Later, heanwhile, sift the icing sugar into a bowl and mix.
Then, mix in the few drops of food coloring if you like.
Finally, when the biscuits have cooled, spoon the icing into an icing bag. 

When you finish, it´s delicious!!!!
