YUKON QUEST BY PABLO

                                                 

  ON 13TH of February very important dog race takes place between Alaska and Canada the "Yukon Quest". The runners are Huskies and the "mushers"are the people.

Mushers have trucks and the dogs go there : the dogs have an apartment in the trucks.

A difficult race

The dogs run 65 kilometres a day .When they finish,  a veterinarian examine the dogs. The dogs go to race and run 1650 kilometres. The dogs have  bootees not to be cold. They eat and sleep 3 times in 24 hours. They sleep on straw.
