PANCAKES

Canadian pancakes are small and puffy with crisp edges. In Canada some people eat them for breakfast.

Ingredients:

-145g plain flour.
-2 teaspoons baking powder.
-a pinch of salt.
-1 egg.
-4 tablespoons vegetable oil.
-300ml milk.
-maple syrup.

Method:
First, sift the flour, baking powder  into a mixing bowl, then use a spoon to make a well in the middle.

Then, carefully break the egg into another bowl. Wisk it with two tablespoons of the oil and the milk.

After, beat the eggs mixture into the flour, a little at a time, until everything is mixed and makes a smooth batter.

Next, pour the remaining two tablespoons of oil into a frying pan and heat it until a paint haze rises from the pan.

Later, carefully spoon two tablespoons of butter into the pan to make a pancake. Add butter to make two more.

After that, cook the pancakes for about a minute on one side. When they begin to bubble, turn them over with a spatula.

Finally, cut the pancakes for anoher minute. Until they puff up. Leave them on to a warm plate.
