WHO INVENTED THE THERMOMETER?

The thermometer was invented by Galileo Galilei in 1593. The thermometer consisted of water in a glass bulb.

Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit was born on 24 May 1686 and he was Polish. He was a chemist and physicist. He used mercury plus a chemical solution and invented the mercury thermometer. 

His parents died  on August 14 1701 from eating poisonous mushrooms. When he was young he married Concordia Schumann. 

In 1717 Fahrenheit became a glassblower, making barometers, altimeters and thermometers,.

He died in The Hague, Netherlands on the 16 of September 1736 and was buried at the Cloister Church.
