Halloween  was a Celtic festival. It celebrated  the Celtic new year. legend says  that at halloween, the dead visited  the  living. That is why people  now wear terrifyng  costumes for halloween.           Halloween  costume 
In América people of all ages go to Halloween parties. Young people wear  maks and dress up as witches vampires ghosts and monsters.  
Trick or treat 
On 31 october children visit people' s houses  and ask for sweets. They say  " Trick or treat, give a sweet."   
Pumpkins 
In October  families in América  go to farms to buy pumkins to make jack O ' lanters.
Accesories
There aré lost of  Halloween : witches fingers, terrifiying make up, vampire teeth, and brooms.
